WWE Raw Highlights
Brock Lesnar Attacks King of the Ring Winner Oba Femi
Newly crowned King of the Ring Oba Femi celebrated his victory and told the crowd that destiny had carried him to the crown. He said his journey was not over and that he now had to decide which world champion to challenge. Before he could continue, Brock Lesnar interrupted with Paul Heyman. Lesnar congratulated Femi but claimed Heyman had told him that Oba had been calling him a coward and a bitch. He then attacked Femi with a low blow and an F-5 before trying to leave. Femi got back to his feet, called Lesnar a bitch to his face, and challenged him to a match at SummerSlam. Lesnar accepted, but only if the match takes place inside Hell in a Cell.
“All Ego” Ethan Page vs Rey Mysterio
Rey Mysterio overcame a strong challenge from Ethan Page to earn a hard-fought victory. Page dominated the early stages, targeting Mysterio in the corner and even trying to tear at his mask before sending him crashing to the floor. After the break, Rey fought back with a low dive, a seated senton, and a springboard crossbody. Page answered with a Tan Sheamus and a powerslam, but he could not keep Mysterio down. Rey regained control with an enzuigiri that put Page on the ropes. He followed with the 619 and finished the match with a frog splash to secure the pinfall victory.
Austin Theory vs Joe Hendry
Joe Hendry hosted an in-ring concert and invited the new WWE Men’s World Tag Team Champions, the Street Profits, to join him. Montez Ford thanked the WWE Universe, Seth Rollins, and Hendry for helping them win the titles. Before the concert could continue, Austin Theory interrupted and accused the Profits of stealing the championships. He revealed that he and Bron Breakker had been granted a tag title rematch for next week. Theory then challenged Hendry to a match after mocking him for the concert interruption. Following the commercial break, the two battled in a competitive match. Hendry finished the match with a Side Effect to earn the pinfall victory.
“Big” Jim Uso vs LA Knight
LA Knight and Big Jim Uso opened with a competitive match while Jey Uso watched from the commentary desk. Knight controlled parts of the action with strikes, a jumping neckbreaker, and a superplex, but Jimmy answered with a suicide dive before the break. Late in the match, Knight knocked Jey out of his chair at ringside, leading Jey to rush into the ring. The distraction allowed Jimmy to surprise Knight with a schoolboy roll-up for the pinfall victory. After the match, Knight attacked Jimmy until Jey made the save. Moments later, Solo Sikoa appeared and hit Jimmy with a Samoan Spike before escaping. Knight then took advantage of the chaos and dropped Jey with a BFT to end the segment.
Maxxine Dupri vs Raquel Rodriguez (#1 Contender’s match)
Raquel Rodriguez quickly overpowered Maxxine Dupri in the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship No. 1 Contender’s Match. Although Dupri showed some early offense with strikes and an escape from a boot, Rodriguez took control with a ringside slam, a slingshot Jackhammer, and a big lariat. Raquel finished the match with a one-arm powerbomb to secure the pinfall victory and become the new No. 1 contender for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
Roman Reigns Accepts Seth Rollins’ SummerSlam Challenge
Roman Reigns closed the show alongside Jacob Fatu, addressing the crowd before being interrupted by Seth Rollins. The two former Shield teammates stood face-to-face as Rollins reminded Reigns of their 14-year history. He claimed Roman owed him everything, pointing to victories over Reigns, including pinning him at WrestleMania 41.
Rollins challenged Reigns to a match at SummerSlam, calling it perhaps their final chance to settle their rivalry as the next generation rises. He admitted both men were closer to the end of their careers than the beginning and urged Roman to finally overcome the one opponent who had always haunted him.
Reigns responded by saying it had been a long time since Rollins had spoken the truth. Roman then officially accepted the SummerSlam challenge. The segment ended with Reigns raising his championship while he and Rollins shared an intense staredown, confirming their blockbuster match for SummerSlam.
