WWE NXT Heatwave Results: NXT Heatwave was held at Bert Ogden Arena. It featured wrestlers from WWE’s NXT brand. Heatwave was broadcast on The CW and ESPN Unlimited. It was the first Heatwave shown on both services.

Kali Armstrong vs Zaria vs Wren Sinclair (Winner Takes All Triple Threat)
Zaria, Kali Armstrong, and Wren Sinclair battled for both titles. Sinclair initially stayed away while Armstrong and Zaria fought. The match featured several quick pinfall attempts. All three women traded strikes and powerful moves throughout. Sinclair hit a superplex and double crossbody. Armstrong answered with a spinebuster and Kali Connection. Zaria delivered multiple spears during the match. Sinclair locked Zaria in the Wrench, but she refused to submit. Armstrong later powered Sinclair onto the floor. Zaria then hit Armstrong with a spear and F5. She scored the three-count and became the Unified North American and Speed Champion.
Myles Borne and Tavion Heights (c) vs The Vanity Project (NXT Tag Team Championship)
Myles Borne and Tavion Heights defended the NXT Tag Team titles. The Vanity Project controlled Borne during several stretches. Heights later helped change the match with powerful suplexes. Both teams exchanged big moves and quick tags. Smokes and Baylor repeatedly used double-team attacks. Borne and Heights also hit double underhook suplexes. The match eventually came down to Borne and Smokes. Vanity Project hit the Hit It and Quit It on Borne. Smokes covered Borne and secured the three-count. The Vanity Project won the NXT Tag Team Championship. They became two-time champions after their victory.
Jaida Parker vs Nattie (Submission Match)
Jaida Parker and Nattie battled in a submission match. The fight quickly moved outside the ring. Both women traded submission attempts throughout the match. Nattie repeatedly targeted Parker’s legs and used the Sharpshooter. Parker answered with an abdominal stretch and Rings of Saturn. Lola Vice and Lash Legend also became involved outside. Thea Hail later chased Legend away from ringside. Parker then focused on Nattie’s injured knee. She locked in the Sharpshooter and increased the pressure. Nattie could not escape the hold and finally tapped out. Jaida Parker defeated Nattie in the submission match.
Kendal Grey (c) vs Kelani Jordan (NXT Women’s Championship)
Kelani Jordan challenged Kendal Grey for the NXT Women’s Championship. Jordan targeted Grey’s injured ear throughout the match. Grey fought back with suplexes and the Ankle Lock. Both women survived several big finishing moves. Jordan also sent Grey through the announce table. Grey hit Shades of Grey but Jordan kicked out. Jordan then continued attacking Grey’s injured ear. Grey tried another Ankle Lock but could not stop Jordan. Jordan hit a moonsault after throwing Grey into the ring post. She scored the three-count and became the new NXT Women’s Champion.
Myles Borne (c) vs Jackson Drake (North American Championship)
Myles Borne defended the NXT North American Championship. Borne entered already hurt from his earlier tag match. Jackson Drake immediately targeted his injured ribs and back. Borne still fought back with strikes and power moves. Tavion Heights stayed nearby to support the champion. Drake hit several running knees and a cutter. Borne answered with two powerbombs but Drake kicked out. Drake later hit a 450 Splash from the top rope. Lockwood also attacked Borne outside the ring. Drake returned Borne to the ring and hit another 450 Splash. He scored the three-count and became the new NXT North American Champion.
Tony D’Angelo (c) vs Grayson Waller vs Cruz Montana vs Zilla Fatu (NXT Championship)
Tony D’Angelo defended the NXT Championship against three challengers. Cruz Montana quickly attacked everyone around ringside. Zilla Fatu and D’Angelo also fought throughout the match. Waller focused on avoiding the biggest threats while finding openings. Montana hit Spin The Block on D’Angelo near the finish. D’Angelo answered with a spear but could not secure victory. Waller then took advantage of the chaos. He covered D’Angelo while everyone else was down. The referee counted three before anyone could stop him. Grayson Waller won the match and became the new NXT Champion.
