Back inside, Angels landed the decisive knee lift to win the match.

Wren Sinclair Earns NXT Women’s Title Shot

Wren Sinclair celebrated becoming the number one contender for the NXT Women’s Championship. She explained that disguising herself as Lady Shani in the battle royal was a risk, but it paid off. Wren admitted she had spent too long playing safe and decided to take control of her future. Kelani Jordan interrupted and argued that Wren’s suspension meant her victory should not count. She refused to defend her title against Sinclair at Halloween Havoc. General manager Robert Stone pointed out that Wren eliminated 19 other women and made the match official after the crowd supported her. Kelani tried to attack Wren, but Sinclair avoided her move.

The champion fought back with a Lou Thesz Press and later landed a missile dropkick, lariats and a Gory Facebuster for a near-fall. Armstrong answered with a Blue Thunder Driver but could not secure the win. Catalina then sent Armstrong over the ropes onto the exposed floor and followed with a sliding knee to secure the pinfall victory.
