Aiden Kyle Markram is a South African cricketer born on 4 October 1994. He is the current captain of South Africa in T20Is and the vice-captain in ODIs and Tests. He led the South Africa Under-19 team to the 2014 Under-19 World Cup title. He was named one of the five Cricketers of the Year in the 2018 South African Cricket Annual. Graeme Smith once called him a future South Africa captain. Markram made his international debut in September 2017.

Aiden Markram’s father, Kyle Markram, guided him from childhood by taking him to practice sessions and school and encouraging his cricket dreams. His mother, Gina Markram, was always present at his rugby and cricket games and gave him confidence through setbacks.
