WWE Raw was live from Madison Square Garden in New York City, continuing the road to WrestleMania 42.
The Usos defended their tag titles against The Vision in a street fight. IYO SKY faced Raquel Rodriguez, and the women’s tag titles were also on the line as the champions defended against Bayley and Lyra Valkyria.
WWE Raw Highlights
Cody Rhodes and Stephanie McMahon segment
Cody Rhodes came out and started talking, but Stephanie McMahon interrupted him at Madison Square Garden.
Stephanie said she wanted to talk about Cody, Randy Orton, and WrestleMania. She explained that all of them come from wrestling families, but this version of Randy Orton is different and dangerous. She told Cody he can’t bring out the best in Orton this time and needs to think like him or he will lose. She also said Cody is not like his father, Dusty Rhodes.
Cody responded by reminding her how violent Orton has been in the past and said he’s no longer a student. He fired back by saying Stephanie isn’t her father either.
Stephanie slapped him and warned him again that Orton is fully embracing the voices and is in control. She said if Cody can’t match that mindset, WrestleMania will be the last time he’s champion. As she left, Cody stopped her and simply said “thank you.”
Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso (c) vs Austin Theory & Logan Paul – Street Fight
The Usos started fast, attacking early and hitting dives. After the break, the Vision took control using trash cans and weapons. The Usos fought back with superkicks and crushed trash cans around Theory’s body with kendo sticks.
A big moment came when the Usos hit a double superplex on Theory through a table, but couldn’t finish the match. Chaos continued as Logan Paul tried to use brass knuckles, but LA Knight stopped him.
IShowSpeed then grabbed the knuckles and accidentally knocked out LA Knight. Jimmy Uso got hit with the loaded punch, and Austin Theory covered him. The Vision won by pinfall and became the new WWE Men’s World Tag Team Champions.
Bayley & Lyra Valkyria vs Lash Legend & Nia Jax (c)
Bayley started against Lash Legend but got overpowered early. Lyra Valkyria used speed with dropkicks, while the champs used strength, throwing her across the ring. The challengers worked together with tandem offense and dives to take control before the break.
After the break, Nia Jax hit a Samoan drop for a nearfall. Bayley answered with a diving elbow, but Lash broke momentum with a big boot. Chaos started when the Bella Twins, Alexa Bliss, and Charlotte Flair came to ringside.
With everyone fighting outside, Charlotte slid into the ring and hit a chop block, causing the disqualification. Irresistible Forces retained the titles.
Brock Lesnar, Paul Heyman, and Oba Femi segment
Brock Lesnar came out ready to fight with Paul Heyman. Heyman said Oba Femi only got the better of Brock before because of distractions, and claimed nobody can stand up to Lesnar when he’s ready.
Lesnar then took the mic and directly called out Oba Femi. Adam Pearce came out and stopped it, saying there will be no fight tonight because he has to protect WrestleMania matches.
Oba Femi still came out, threw security aside, and entered the ring to face Lesnar. Both men squared up, ready to fight.
Triple H ran down and got between them, forcing them apart. Lesnar backed off but showed anger by lifting the steel steps and teasing a throw before dropping them.
Kofi Kingston vs Penta (c) – WWE Men’s Intercontinental Championship
The match started fast with counters, leapfrogs, and early strikes. Penta took control with a superkick, Codebreaker, and double stomp for nearfalls. Kofi fought back with a tornado DDT and SOS, but couldn’t finish.
Grayson Waller kept distracting at ringside, and Kofi wasted time arguing with him. On the floor, Penta caught Kofi and hit a back suplex into the announce desk.
Kofi had a big moment with Trouble in Paradise, but Penta kicked out at the last second. In the end, Penta hit a flip piledriver and got the pin to retain the title.
Roman Reigns and CM Punk segment
Roman Reigns came out and soaked in chants before asking the crowd to acknowledge him. CM Punk entered ready to fight, and they immediately started trading punches.
Punk got the upper hand early, throwing Roman to the floor and smashing his face into the desk and ring post. Reigns fought back with power, even accidentally spearing a road agent while chaos broke out.
Punk then hit the Go To Sleep. After that, he lifted Reigns and delivered a release powerbomb through the announce desk.
Punk sat on the broken desk next to Roman for a moment, then kept punching him until officials pulled him away. He ended the show posing for the crowd.
