WWE NXT Highlights

Women’s North American championship – Izzi Dame(c) vs Lola Vice vs Thea Hail

Izzi Dame defended the Women’s North American Championship against Lola Vice and Thea Hail in a fast triple threat. Dame used her power advantage to dominate at times, but Vice and Hail teamed up briefly to slow her down before fighting each other again.

Afterward, Dame tried choking Hail while Vice applied a sleeper, setting up a wild finish. Kelani Jordan briefly interfered and damaged Vice’s hand with a ladder. Hail nearly won with a Kimura, but Dame powered out and hit another sitout powerbomb to pin Hail. Izzi Dame retained the title.

Tony D’Angelo returns

Tony D’Angelo returned to the ring with a mic after being gone for seven months. He said he needed to clear the air and look back on his NXT history. He explained that about a year ago, he had everything, but DarkState destroyed his life and took it all away. Tony said his return was planned and that nobody in NXT knew what he was preparing.

He called the current NXT locker room selfish, but said that works in his favor. He said he came back for two reasons. First, to deal with DarkState, not for revenge but for punishment, promising to take everything from them. Second, he said his next goal would be revealed after DarkState is handled.

Elio LeFleur vs Charlie Dempsey

Elio LeFleur faced Charlie Dempsey in the first round of the Speed Tournament. Both men started fast, with Dempsey taking LeFleur to the mat and going for quick pin attempts. Back in the ring, Dempsey slowed things down with a slam and nearly got the win. LeFleur fought back with strikes and kept the pace high. After a tense exchange near the ropes and a roll-up scare, LeFleur landed a springboard knee, followed by a slam, and got the pinfall victory. Elio LeFleur advanced to the next round.

Heather & M By Elegance of The Elegance Brand (c) vs Zaria & Sol Ruca of ZaRuca

The Elegance Brand defended the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Titles against ZaRuca. Zaria showed power with suplexes and slams, but she refused to work smoothly with Ruca and kept avoiding tagging her in. That tension nearly cost them. When Ruca finally got in, she hit big moves, and ZaRuca connected with double spears.

Ruca went for the Sol Snatcher, but Ash By Elegance interfered by pulling Heather out of the ring. Ruca accidentally hit Zaria, and Ash then threw Ruca into the ring steps. Heather tagged in, M held Zaria in place, and Heather hit a double stomp to Zaria’s spine for the pin. The Elegance Brand retained the titles.

Kale Dixon & Uriah Connors of Chase U vs Lexis King & Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo

Chase U faced Lexis King and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, with Arianna Grace at ringside. Uriah Connors attacked Stacks right at the bell, but Stacks quickly turned things around and helped King take control. King and Stacks worked together early and kept Kale Dixon in trouble with a double-team offense.

Dixon finally fought back and tagged Connors, who came in with energy and hit Stacks with a tornado DDT. Connors also knocked King out of the ring, giving Chase U some momentum. Stacks stopped Dixon when he tried a moonsault, and King tagged in at the perfect time. King hit The Coronation on Dixon and got the pin. Lexis King and Stacks won the match by pinfall.

Ricky Saints vs Shiloh Hill vs Sean Legacy vs Jackson Drake vs Dion Lennox vs Keanu Carver vs Joe Hendry

The NXT Championship Ladder Match was pure chaos from the start, with all seven men brawling and ladders getting involved fast. Keanu Carver used his power early, while Ricky Saints landed a double DDT on Shiloh Hill and Dion Lennox. Joe Hendry cleared the ring by swinging a ladder and later wiped everyone out with a huge dive to the floor.

Near the end, Carver destroyed the field, spearing Legacy through the wall. Saints looked close to winning after knocking Carver off a ladder, but Hendry climbed up, smashed Saints with the title, and grabbed the belt. Joe Hendry became the new WWE NXT Champion.
