Kamil Mishara is a Sri Lankan professional cricketer who plays T20 Internationals for the national team. He made his T20 debut for Nondescripts Cricket Club on 19 February 2019 in the 2018–19 SLC Twenty20 Tournament. In January 2020, he was named in the squad for the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. He made his List A debut on 24 March 2021 in the 2020–21 Major Clubs Limited Over Tournament.
Mishara was named in the team’s Test squad for the series against Bangladesh in April 2022. During the Bangladesh tour in May 2022, he breached the team’s COVID-19 bio-bubble rules by meeting a visitor in his hotel room. He was expelled from the squad during the second Test and given a one-year ban. In 2025, he scored an unbeaten 158 against Galle in the National Super League, but his team lost the match.

Kamil Mishara’s Personal Life
Kamil Mishara studied at Mahanama College in Panadura, where he completed his education up to Grade 11. During this time, he began building his cricket career along with his studies.
After that, he moved to the Royal College in Colombo for his higher studies. He continued playing school cricket there and represented the college in major competitions.
In 2019, he was named Schoolboy Cricketer of the Year. He became the fourth player from Royal College to win this award.
That same year, he made the highest individual score of the 2019 school cricket season. He scored 250 runs off 270 balls, hitting 32 fours and 5 sixes. This innings came against Ananda College in a Singer Trophy Under-19 match.
