Maheesh Theekshana is a Sri Lankan cricketer who plays all white-ball formats. Maheesh Theekshana is married to Arthika Yonali. They had a lavish wedding at the Shangri-La in Colombo on January 17, 2025. Arthika works as a professional cabin crew member. The couple announced in January 2026 that they are expecting their first child, sharing an ultrasound photo on social media.
Maheesh Theekshana grew up with his grandmother and attended Siddhartha Vidyalaya in Sedawatta. He later moved to St. Benedict’s College, Colombo, at the request of alumni and with financial support from the school’s cricket wing. He earned a scholarship and won the All-Island Best All-Rounder Award in his final year.
