Kamindu Mendis is a Sri Lankan cricketer who plays for the national team in all formats and for Colombo Cricket Club domestically. He made his international debut in October 2018. He played his first T20I against England on 27 October 2018, scoring 24 runs. He made his ODI debut against South Africa on 10 March 2019.
Mendis has served as vice-captain for Sri Lanka in the 2019 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup and the 2019 South Asian Games, where Sri Lanka won a silver medal.
