Bevon Jacobs is a New Zealand cricketer who bats right-handed. He currently plays domestic cricket for Auckland and earlier represented Canterbury.
He made his List A debut for Canterbury on 25 November 2023 against Wellington in the 2023–24 Ford Trophy. His T20 debut came on 19 December 2023 for Canterbury Kings against Auckland in the Super Smash, where he scored 42 runs from 20 balls.
Before the 2024–25 domestic season, Jacobs moved to Auckland. At the 2024 IPL auction, he was picked by the Mumbai Indians for ₹30 lakh. In early 2025, Jacobs was included in New Zealand’s squad for the T20I series against Sri Lanka, but he did not play any matches.

Bevon Jacobs’s Personal Life
Bevon John Jacobs was born in Pretoria, South Africa. He moved to New Zealand when he was three years old with his family. He grew up in Auckland and attended Westlake Boys’ High School on the North Shore. His father introduced him to cricket at a young age.
Jacobs played age-group cricket for Auckland and also represented his school in competitive cricket. He studied Sport and Recreation Management at Lincoln University. This is the same university where New Zealand fast bowler Kyle Jamieson studied commerce.
Bevon Jacobs’s Contract
During the 2024/25 season, Bevon-John Jacobs received his first Auckland ACES contract. This marked his return to Auckland after representing Canterbury in domestic cricket the previous season.
