Indian Fan Zones Sold Out in Australia: Cricket Australia has confirmed that the Indian fan zones at all eight venues for the upcoming white-ball series between Australia and India have sold out, almost 50 days before the first match.

The dedicated sections, designed to bring together Indian supporters in each stadium, were snapped up well ahead of schedule, underlining the intensity of demand whenever the two cricketing powerhouses meet. Public tickets for the Sydney and Canberra fixtures have also been exhausted, with Cricket Australia warning that remaining seats elsewhere are selling fast.

“We are thrilled by the overwhelming response to the Indian fan zones selling out across all eight venues,” said Joel Morrison, Cricket Australia’s Executive General Manager of Events and Operations. “We’re looking forward to a vibrant atmosphere and a world-class contest on the field.”

The series begins with three one-day internationals, starting at Perth Stadium on October 19, before moving to Adelaide Oval (October 23) and the Sydney Cricket Ground (October 25). Veteran campaigners Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are expected to feature, having stepped back from Test and T20 duty but retained for the 50-over format.

India Tour of Australia Schedule

A five-match Twenty20 series follows, beginning in Canberra on October 29 and continuing through Melbourne (October 31), Hobart (November 2), the Gold Coast (November 6) and Brisbane (November 8). The tour will mark the first time that men’s internationals have been scheduled across all eight Australian states and territories.

The two sides last met in a bilateral series in Australia in 2020-21, when the hosts took the ODIs 2-1 before India responded by winning the T20Is by the same margin. With both squads now deep in transition, and the crowds already guaranteeing colour and noise, this season’s encounters promise a renewal of one of cricket’s most watchable rivalries.
