David Miller Contract
David Miller was not given a full central contract for the 2024–25 cycle. Instead, he accepted a hybrid deal from Cricket South Africa. The hybrid contract allows him to be available for selected bilateral tours and ICC events while continuing to play in major T20 leagues.
He was on a white-ball-only contract in the previous cycle, but the hybrid structure gives him more flexibility. His deal also aligns with his commitments in leagues such as the Hundred, which clashes with South Africa’s white-ball tour of Australia in August 2025.
David Miller was released by Lucknow Super Giants ahead of the IPL 2026 mini-auction. The IPL 2026 mini-auction will take place on 16 December 2025 in Abu Dhabi. Miller was bought by Lucknow Super Giants for INR 7.5 crore in the IPL 2025 auction.
