Batsmen Who Hit Centuries In The Hundred (2021-2025)

Batsmen Who Hit Centuries In The Hundred: The Hundred competition (Men’s and Women’s) was launched by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) a few years ago to compete with other franchise leagues around the world.

The ECB wanted to make their premier white-ball competition stand out from the rest, and for that, they introduced a unique format: 100 balls per innings. Their major selling point was that the games in The Hundred will be shorter by a considerable amount of time compared to T20 cricket.

The Hundred in both genders has eight teams—7 based in England and one in Wales. The inaugural edition of The Hundred was played in 2021.

In the first four seasons (2021 to 2024), three batsmen managed to reach a three-figure score. Let us check out the batsmen who have hit centuries in the Hundred Men’s competition so far.

List Of Batsmen Who Hit Centuries In The Hundred Men’s (2021-2025)

Will Smeed – 101* vs Southern Brave (2022)

Birmingham Phoenix opener Will Smeed was the first batsman to hit a century in The Hundred Men’s competition. He attained this feat in the second season in 2022 against Southern Brave at Edgbaston.

Smeed scored 101* runs off 50 balls, clobbering eight fours and six sixes in his innings, to take the Phoenix to a total of 176. Phoenix won by 53 runs, and Smeed bagged the Man of the Match award.

Will Jacks – 108* vs Southern Brave (2022)

The Southern Brave conceded another century from a batsman in the Hundred 2022 season when Will Jacks of Oval Invincibles thumped 108* runs off 48 balls at The Oval.

Opening the innings for the Invincibles in the chase of 138 runs, Jacks cracked 10 fours and eight sixes to take his side to the target with 18 balls to spare. Jacks’ 108* is currently the highest score in the Hundred mens history.

Harry Brook – 105* vs Welsh Fire (2023)

In The Hundred mens 2023 season, Northern Superchargers’ middle-order batsman Harry Brook produced one of the most dominating individual displays of batting in the competition.

Brook walloped 105* runs off 42 balls against Welsh Fire in Leeds. Brook hammered 11 fours and 7 sixes in his thrilling innings. His strike rate of 250 in that innings is the highest strike rate among the centuries made in The Hundred.

Sadly, no one around Brook scored more than 15 runs, and his side eventually lost the match to Welsh, but Brook, for his outstanding knock, bagged the Man of the Match award.
