Richa Ghosh, born on 28 September 2003, is an Indian cricketer. At the age of 16, she was named in India’s squad for the 2020 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup and later for the 2020 Australia Women’s Tri-Nation Series. She made her WT20I debut on 12 February 2020 against Australia in the tri-series final. In May 2021, she received her first central contract from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Ghosh was called up for India’s national team in August 2021 for their series against Australia and made her WODI debut on 21 September 2021 against Australia. She played for the Hobart Hurricanes in the 2021–22 Women’s Big Bash League season and was named in India’s squad for the 2022 Women’s Cricket World Cup in New Zealand.

In the 2023 Women’s Premier League, Ghosh was signed by Royal Challengers Bangalore for ₹1.90 crore. She made her Women’s Test debut for India on 21 December 2023, scoring 52 and 13 in her innings. She was also named in India’s squad for the 2024 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.

On 19 December 2024, Ghosh scored the joint fastest fifty in women’s T20Is, helping India achieve their highest-ever total in the format against the West Indies. In the 2025 World Cup, she scored 94 against South Africa, setting the record for the highest score by a number 8 batter in Women’s ODIs while recovering India’s innings from 102/6.
