Roston Chase is a Barbadian all-rounder who plays for West Indies and Barbados. He bats right-handed and bowls right-arm off-spin. In 2017, he was named both Cricketer of the Year and Test Cricketer of the Year by the West Indies Players’ Association. Because he often saved his team in tough matches, he earned the nickname “Crisis Man.”
In his second Test in 2016 at Sabina Park, he scored 137 not out and also took five wickets in the match. He became only the fourth West Indian to score a hundred and take five wickets in the same Test, after Denis Atkinson, Collie Smith, and Garry Sobers.
