In the WPL 2026 finals, Smriti Mandhana reached 1,000 runs mark in the Women’s Premier League. She achieved the milestone with her 64th run in the match, helping RCB chase a 204-run target. She put together a 150+ partnership alongside Georgia Vol.

Mandhana became the 5th player in WPL history to cross 1,000 runs, joining Nat Sciver-Brunt (1,348), Meg Lanning (1,200), Harmanpreet Kaur (1,193), and Shafali Verma (1,124).

She also surpassed Ellyse Perry, who has 972 runs from 25 matches at an average of 64.80, to climb higher on the WPL all-time runs list.

Jemimah Rodrigues Shines with 57 in WPL 2026 Final

Jemimah Rodrigues played an important innings for Delhi Capitals in the WPL 2026 final against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Vadodara. She scored 57 runs off 37 balls and helped DC put up a big total of 203/4 in 20 overs.

Rodrigues came in to bat when DC were 49/1 in the 6th over. She first added 23 runs with Lizelle Lee, and then built a crucial 76-run partnership for the 3rd wicket with Laura Wolvaardt.

She completed her fifty in the 15th over, but was dismissed in the next over by Sayali Satghare. This was Rodrigues’ 5th fifty in WPL. In 37 WPL matches (34 innings), she has scored 771 runs at an average of 29.65.

In the WPL 2026 season, she finished with 264 runs in 10 matches, averaging 33, and this was her 2nd fifty of the season. Rodrigues also became the 3rd player in WPL final history to score a 50+ score, joining Harmanpreet Kaur and Nat Sciver-Brunt.
