WarGames was a WWE Premium Live Event and livestreaming event held on November 29, 2025, at Petco Park in San Diego, California. It was the 39th Survivor Series and featured wrestlers from Raw and SmackDown. This edition continued the WarGames format, which uses a roofless steel cage built around two rings set side by side.
The show had four matches, including two WarGames matches. The main event was the men’s WarGames match, where Brock Lesnar, Drew McIntyre, Logan Paul, and The Vision (Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed) faced the team of CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and The Usos (Jey and Jimmy Uso). The event opened with the women’s WarGames match, where the team of AJ Lee, Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, Iyo Sky, and Rhea Ripley faced the team of Becky Lynch, Lash Legend, Nia Jax, and The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane). Women’s War Games Match
The Women’s WarGames match opened the event. The teams were AJ Lee, Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, Iyo Sky, and Rhea Ripley against Becky Lynch, Lash Legend, Nia Jax, Asuka, and Kairi Sane of The Kabuki Warriors. The match did not use shark cages, and each wrestler entered one at a time. Charlotte Flair and Asuka began the match. Iyo Sky, Becky Lynch, and Alexa Bliss entered next. Kairi Sane gained control for a short time using a metal chain.
AJ Lee entered after climbing the cage, jumping down with a crossbody after Lynch tried to stop her. Nia Jax entered and overpowered several wrestlers until Rhea Ripley arrived with weapons and cleared the ring. Lash Legend came in last, officially starting the match. Asuka accidentally sprayed mist at Legend. Ripley and Flair then hit a double suplex on Jax, and Bliss followed with Twisted Bliss.
Iyo Sky attempted a senton from the top of the cage while inside a trash can. Lynch managed to avoid the move but was left alone in the ring. She was hit by Flair, Bliss, and Ripley before AJ Lee locked in the Black Widow, making Lynch submit and giving Lee’s team the win.
Dominik Mysterio vs John Cena by pinfall
John Cena defended the Intercontinental Championship against Dominik Mysterio in what was billed as Cena’s final match on a major event. Dominik came to the ring with Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez, while Cena received a long ovation from fans chanting “Thank you, Cena.”
A referee accident gave Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh a chance to interfere, but Cena stopped them with a double Attitude Adjustment. Dominik then tried to use the title belt as a weapon, but Cena avoided it. Liv Morgan returned and hit Cena with a low blow.
Dominik took advantage by landing another 619 and a final frog splash. He pinned Cena and won the Intercontinental Championship for the second time.
Stephanie Vaquer vs Nikki Bella by pinfall
Stephanie Vaquer defended the Women’s World Championship against Nikki Bella in the third match. Vaquer took control early after blocking an attempted cheap shot from Bella at the start. Bella gained momentum when Vaquer missed a knee drop on the apron, keeping the advantage for a while.
Vaquer turned the match around again by hitting a knee drop on the apron. She then delivered the Devil’s Kiss onto the reinforced announce table, which shifted the match fully in her favor. After bringing Bella back into the ring, Vaquer hit a second Devil’s Kiss and finished with a corkscrew splash. She pinned Bella and successfully retained the Women’s World Championship.
Men’s War Games Match
At Survivor Series 2025, the men’s WarGames match ended in chaos after a mystery WWE star appeared. The match featured CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and The Usos on one side, facing Brock Lesnar, Drew McIntyre, Logan Paul, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed, who were joined by Paul Heyman. Breakker’s team won the match by pinfall.
The turning point came when an unidentified man dressed in all black climbed the cage. He had his face covered and entered the ring. He hit a superkick and a curb stomp on CM Punk. This created confusion because Rollins recently had shoulder surgery.
The mystery man left the cage right after the attack. Bron Breakker then hit a spear on CM Punk, which led to the winning pinfall. There has been talk that the mystery man could be joining The Vision. Possible names include Austin Theory, Tony D’Angelo, Ricky Saints or Ethan Page, though nothing is confirmed.
After the match, Punk, Rhodes, and Reigns had a tense moment. Reigns told Rhodes that “This is the last time we’re ever teaming. Just know that.”
