According to Turkish journalist Kaya Temel, Galatasaray have filed an internal report and are preparing to fine Morata for violating club protocol. A formal warning is also expected.
The timing is significant. Galatasaray are on the verge of completing a permanent move for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, whose arrival in Istanbul may change the landscape of the Morata situation. Club sources have indicated that Osimhen’s signing could prompt Galatasaray to finally authorise Morata’s exit.
Como president Mirwan Suwarso voiced his exasperation to Sky Sport 24, saying: “What’s missing for Morata? Just him being here. We have an agreement with Milan and the player. Milan need to talk to Galatasaray.”
