WWE Monday Night Raw was live from the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas, as the road to WrestleMania 42 continued.
El Grande Americano Original faced El Grande Americano Nuevo in a big match. AJ Lee defended her Intercontinental Championship against Bayley. Brock Lesnar returned, and Roman Reigns and CM Punk also appeared to build their WrestleMania match.
WWE Raw Highlights
Seth Rollins, Paul Heyman, Brock Lesnar, Oba Femi Segment
Seth Rollins came out with masked men and said he created the Vision and would destroy it. He warned anyone standing with Paul Heyman, including Brock Lesnar, that they were now targets. Rollins bragged about attacking Heyman last week, but Heyman appeared on stage, injured but confident, and came down to confront him.
Before things escalated, Brock Lesnar entered. He destroyed the masked men with multiple suplexes and F-5s. Rollins watched as chaos broke out in the ring.
Suddenly, Oba Femi arrived. He stepped in, faced Lesnar, and shocked everyone by hitting Fall From Grace and pinning him with one foot.
Femi pointed at WrestleMania as Lesnar backed away.
El Grande Americano Nuevo vs El Grande Americano Original
The match started fast with Original (red, white, and blue) using chops, a back body drop, and early control. Nuevo (black and gold) fought back with a wrecking ball dropkick and a baseball slide while Original was hanging in the ropes.
Original came back strong with a back suplex, dragon screw, and multiple suplex variations, including rolling Germans and a belly-to-belly. He also took out Rayo and Bravo at ringside to stay in control.
Nuevo stayed in it, landing a Penalty Kick and a California Roll for a close nearfall. Late in the match, outside interference changed everything. Bravo slipped a steel plate into Nuevo’s mask. Original went for a diving headbutt but hit the steel plate by mistake.
El Grande Americano Nuevo won by pinfall with a one-arm pin.
AJ Lee (c) vs Bayley – WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship
The match started technical, with quick counters and nearfalls from both. Bayley used La Casita and a Knee Trembler, while AJ Lee stayed aggressive with a crossbody, bulldog, and strikes. Both kept trading control, with Bayley nearly winning after a Bayley-to-Belly.
AJ fought back with a Shining Wizard and kept pushing the pace. Bayley tried to finish it with a diving elbow drop but missed.
That mistake cost her. AJ locked in the Black Widow, pulling Bayley to the center of the ring. Bayley struggled but couldn’t escape.
AJ Lee won by submission and retained the title.
Penta (c) vs Dragon Lee – WWE Men’s Intercontinental Championship
The match started fast with mat grappling, quick covers, and smooth counters. Both matched each other move for move early. Penta gained control with a superkick and headstand double stomp, but Dragon Lee answered with a dropkick and a huge tope con giro.
Lee hit another massive dive over the announce desk and came close again, but Penta survived. In the end, Penta hit the flip piledriver to finish it. Penta won by pinfall and retained the title.
After the match, both showed respect by shaking hands and embracing.
Raquel Rodriguez vs Stephanie Vaquer
Raquel started strong, using power with shoulder thrusts, a lariat, and control on the mat. Vaquer tried to speed things up with quick counters and a dropkick that sent Raquel to the floor, but Raquel took back control and slammed her into the barricade.
Outside interference played a big role. Liv Morgan tried to help Raquel, and IYO SKY came out to stop it. Raquel even knocked SKY over the announce desk.
In the final moment, Raquel went for her power move, but Vaquer reversed it into a roll-up.
Stephanie Vaquer won by pinfall with an over-rotated schoolboy.
Roman Reigns and CM Punk segment
Roman Reigns came out and said the show always revolves around him. He called out CM Punk and told him to come handle business. Punk entered slowly, playing to the crowd before getting in the ring.
They went back and forth on the mic. Punk mocked Roman and questioned who the real Tribal Chief is. Roman fired back, saying Punk hasn’t main evented anything and called him old, slow, and weak.
Punk said he’s already in Roman’s head and promised to beat him at WrestleMania. The tension kept rising until Punk blocked Roman from leaving.
Things almost got physical before Adam Pearce and officials stepped in. The show ended with both still arguing.
